This started as an excuse to spend hours fussing over typefaces. My friends were truly the best collaborators and I am forever grateful for this project. Each of us created very fun display typefaces, which culminated in an interactive/gallery type specimen. We all wear glasses so our gallery show and name of our foundry was heavily inspired by eye wear/optics.

This started as an excuse to spend hours fussing over letters. My friends were truly the best collaborators and I am forever grateful for this project. Each of us created very eye-catching display typefaces, which culminated in an interactive/gallery type specimen. Those who attended the Gallery were encouraged to walk thru the piles of proofs, read each character on the giant eye chart, walk in-between the fallen letters, and hopefully leave the experience with a differnt outlook on type.
For this gallery show, we were each responsible for designing one typeface and figuring out how to make a specimen to present it. Each installation was a collaboration between all of us. We were able to work with a variety of different mediums from digital to print.
